An anime angel, designed with Prismacolor markers, colored pencils (for detail), and charcoal and pastel for the background. Took me two weeks to make her, she's not a character off of anything. I was trying to think of a piece that was movement-related in principle, and I think I got a nice effect with the wings.

I jumped in the river and what did I see?
Black-eyed angels swam with me
A moon full of stars and astral cars
All the things I used to see
All my lovers were there with me
All my past and fut
This pic is AWESOME! i love the shading and coloring. the character design is also wonderful! the only thing i see wrong is you coulda colored the skin, but i think you meant not to maybe for artistic style or something. other than that i think this pic is great!

i wanna know how to make callouts in photoshop please help meh........
Thanks everyone. n_n
I also would have colored the skin, but the lightest color I had available was WAY too dark. If I had Copic markers, I would've used the lightest possible skin tone. Otherwise, I shaded her with warm gray to hint at the skin tone, as well as make her look more organic. Bah, I talk to much. ::shuts up::
Nice picture. The shading you gave her seems to make her very pale, almost like porceline. The espression on her face gives a sence of underlining toughness. An Overall good picture. Love the wings.
